CHALLENGES
Client wanted to migrate their website from old Drupal CMS to WordPress CMS and also wanted to migrate their complete database safely.
SOLUTION
As client had a lot of important and valuable data on their server we did development of the new website in WordPress on our server. Initially we selected a theme and customized it as per requirements also developed custom plugin for client which allows a visitor to post, edit and update events as well.
Once the functionality was completed we asked client for the SQL dump of the complete database and safely migrated a huge amount of data including more than 1600 users which had a database structure of Drupal to WordPress databse structure.
RESULTS
The website was migrated successfully from Drupal to WordPress and all concerns regarding the back-end were resolved and the whole functionality was explained to the admin to manage the website.
